Community Resources to Assist Transition to Reentry
This Reentry Resource Guide is designed to provide inmates, formerly incarcerated people, counselors, social service providers, probation officers, teachers and community members with information about the many resources available in Leon County. The resources included in this guide address the myriad needs of people re-entering society from incarceration who are ready to make positive changes, find employment, secure a place to live, and who may need medical, substance abuse, mental health and other counseling services.
The Big Bend AFTER Reentry Coalition is a coalition of individuals and groups united to
increase public safety and reduce recidivism through:
- Collaborating and establishing community partnerships
- Identifying and providing services and resources to inmates and formerly incarcerated people
- Empowering inmates and formerly incarcerated people to envision a different outcome, become productive and self-sufficient community members, and successfully reintegrate.
