The program will include:
- A discussion of the civil and legal needs of human trafficking survivors.
- Legal remedies available to survivors.
- LSNF’s human trafficking program, including the types of cases the organization is seeing; how to refer victims for free legal assistance and what a victim can expect if they are referred to LSNF.
This session is part of STAC’s monthly training series, offered from 1 to 3 p.m. on the third Friday of every month in partnership with the Big Bend Coalition Against Human Trafficking and the United Church in Tallahassee. Each month’s training has a different focus, and all participants receive a certificate upon completion.
