The Citizen’s North Monroe Corridor Task Force focused on ways to improve the community’s responses to human trafficking, among many other recommendations. This includes the education and training needed for the business establishments in this area so they can recognize and respond safely to suspected sex or labor trafficking situations (see https://stacpro.org/ soon to launch in January), recognizing January as National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, and supporting the collaborative work of STAC in assisting survivors and providing community education.
