More than 50 Wakulla community members participated in an interactive discussion with local experts on how to disrupt human trafficking and create a strong and healthy community. The Survive and Thrive Advocacy Center partnered with Tallahassee Community College, Florida Department of Health – Wakulla and Wakulla County Coalition for Youth for a Human Trafficking Community Conversation on Wednesday, June 12, at the TCC Wakulla Center.
“Human trafficking is extensive, it’s deep and it’s lifelong,” said STAC Executive Director Robin Hassler Thompson. “The only way we can continue to deal with this issue is if we do it as a community.”
