The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is hosting a webinar on human trafficking prevention and supporting victims from 3-4:30 p.m. ET on Sept. 23, 2019.
Cynthia Pappas, Senior Policy Advisor from OJJDP, will provide an overview of human trafficking and how OJJDP is addressing this area. Presenters representing National CASA, Office for Victims of Crime TTA Center, Youth Collaboratory’s Youth Catalyst Team, and the National Human Trafficking TTA Center will collaborate to offer an array of perspectives on human trafficking, including a discussion on recent research, innovative practices to spot signs of trafficking, best practices for prevention and strategies to ensure that youth are partners in designing services that are responsive to their holistic needs.
The webinar also will provide participants with a comprehensive and holistic view of the research and best practices in identifying, and tools to prevent, human trafficking.
