| AEquitas, in partnership with the Just Exits expert Survivor Advisory Council, will transform justice by closing ON RAMPS to and building OFF RAMPS from sexual exploitation. Through the Initiative, they are: Educating prosecutors and law enforcement about how exploiters manipulate, brainwash, and force victims to engage in illegal activity Supporting prosecutors in their efforts to identify wrongful arrests and charges and to remedy wrongful convictions of exploited women and girls Collaborating with communities to ensure that survivors can access services that offer meaningful life opportunities Measuring meaningful prosecution outcomes to ensure a just response AEquitas is seeking applications from prosecutors’ offices to serve as Just Exits pilot sites. Selected offices will receive hands-on, intensive support from AEquitas, survivor advocates, and other experts in the field to implement a model response to sexually exploited women and girls.
