Come and learn what human trafficking is, how we can protect our youth and what we can do as a community to fight back.
This free program will give students, parents, teachers, counselors, other professionals who work with youth and all concerned community members important information about youth vulnerability to sex and labor trafficking and what we can do to protect our youth.
Open to anyone who would like to learn more about sex and labor trafficking, specifically how to identify, report and prevent trafficking and how communities are more vulnerable to trafficking following natural disasters.
Survive and Thrive Advocacy Center is pleased to offer this training for Jackson County in partnership with the Florida Department of Health – Jackson County and Selah Freedom in partnership with the Florida Department of Education’s Title IV, Part A program.
*Training will be offered to students during the school day on May 21 and then open to the general public at 6 p.m. May 21 at Marianna High School, 3546 Caverns Road. NOTE: 6 p.m. CENTRAL Time.
