Human trafficking is a reality in our community. Partnerships with the faith community are vital to helping trafficking survivors, as these communities are “powerful agents for social change”. We all need to know how to identify possible sex and labor trafficking, how to respond to help trafficking survivors, and what we can do to advocate to assist survivors and create a world where trafficking no longer exits. The Survive and Thrive Advocacy Center (STAC) and BBCAHT members will highlight local cases, laws and services, and survivor needs. Speakers will also highlight ACTIONS we can all take.
Donations Collected: Gift cards to stores for groceries and food to assist human trafficking survivors; lip balms to help STAC’s Freedom Outreach Project with the National Human Trafficking Hotline.
