The experiences of human trafficking survivors and their life stories are unique and vary greatly – simply put, everyone is different. Similarly, how sex and labor trafficking survivors are supported within their communities depends on that person’s needs – and community resources, collaborations and many other factors. This presentation will focus indepth at some of the programming that supports adult and minor survivors of both sex and labor trafficking in Florida’s Big Bend and address how can we, as communities that wish to support survivors, best meet their needs and collaborate in an uncertain world with ever-increasing needs, fewer resources, and many other challenges?
