Reimagine Financial Literacy for Survivors
April 19 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Financial literacy is considered a key component of economic empowerment for many service providers in the anti-trafficking and domestic violence field. However, topics like budgeting, savings and managing credit do not always meet the immediate financial needs of survivors. For financial literacy awareness month, this webinar will highlight a panel of service providers who have expanded and reimagined their approach to financial support for survivors.
Webinar Learning Objectives
By the end of this webinar, the learner will be better able to:
- Understand the financial needs of survivors.
- Identify the limitations to financial literacy programs and resources for survivors.
- Recognize best practices in financial literacy and capital building for survivors.
