Human Trafficking: Stories of Survivors

Description: On Tuesday, January 26th, the IRC in Florida is participating in National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month by inviting the community to join a free, live online panel discussion regarding human trafficking in North Florida.
Panelists include anti-human trafficking experts and members of law-enforcement agencies.
The Stories of Survivors will bring forward the human element of human trafficking, focusing on a survivor-centered discussion designed to highlight the challenges faced by survivors across Tallahassee. Due to its complexity and the harm caused by trafficking, survivors face a multitude of barriers as they work to rebuild lives. Members of the community will learn about these issues and ways they can engage in solutions to preventing human trafficking.
