Human Trafficking and the Law: Going Deeper

This free certificate webinar one of the “Third Friday” community training events hosted by BBCAHT and STAC  to inform and engage the North Florida community and beyond. We are happy to extend this invitation to  friends and colleagues – please join us! 

This month’s program will take a deeper dive into both the civil and criminal laws regarding human  trafficking. Topics to cover will include: recently passed legislation, legal issues facing children – especially  in the delinquency and dependency systems, human trafficking expungement law and practice, and special  topics in immigration.  

Presenters: Daniela Donoso, Equal Justice Works Fellow, Legal Services of North Florida; Robin Hassler  Thompson, Executive Director, STAC; Brent Woody, Lead Attorney/Executive Director, Justice Restoration  Center; and Paolo Annino, Glass Professor of Public Interest Law, Distinguished University Scholar with the  Public Interest Law Center, HELP Clinic Students, FSU College of Law. 

NOTE: The Florida Bar has approved this program for 1 hour of Basic CLE credit.
