The event will feature author Chloe O. Davis whose debut book, “The Queens’ English: The LGBTQIA+ Dictionary of Lingo and Colloquial Phrases,” contains more than 800 words created by and for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex and asexual (LGBTQIA+) community.
Moderated by WFSU Multimedia Reporter Robbie Gaffney, the conversation with Chloe O. Davis will explore the history and meaning behind LGBTQIA+ terminology and how the dictionary can be a starting point for conversations about inclusivity, sexuality, gender expression and identity.
After the lecture, five attendees will be randomly selected to receive a free personal copy of “The Queens’ English.” Winners will be notified via email.
