Justice system representatives and experts will speak on a range of issues raised by the film “Trafficked in America,” which will be shown from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. with lunch and program to follow. Topics will include the prevalence of labor trafficking in Florida and the Big Bend; the challenges and realities of trafficking of minors and their vulnerability; immigration legal issues and assistance for victims; and how those in the justice system and the public can best respond to bring justice to trafficking survivors and our community.
This program is approved for 4.5 hours of CLE – but you don’t need to be a lawyer to attend.
