THE NEED

There are hundreds of victim and survivor stories from our community. With your support, STAC ensures survivors can have a safer and meaningful life that is free from human trafficking. Survivors have a wide range of needs – from clothing, transportation, housing, and counseling to food, a job, a new phone, and a safe place to escape from their traffickers. These survivors and their families could easily fall through the cracks. Your gift can help provide these essential items and support STAC as we work to build hope for a safe future and a chance to move from surviving to thriving. Survivors like:

  • The mother whose own mother and grandmother were sex trafficked.
  • The labor trafficked minor who was tricked into a job and never paid.
  • The woman who was promised a good job as a masseuse and was then both sex and labor trafficked.
  • The skilled immigrant who was brought legally to the U.S. and then forced to cook and clean or risk harm to his family by the trafficker.
  • The young girl who was sexually exploited by her uncle.

How can we collectively empower our vulnerable population from traffickers?

  • Join STAC to educate, inform, and advocate for a world where trafficking and exploitation are a thing of the past.
  • Participate in STAC’s outreach and learning programs to help people recognize the realities and the scars of human trafficking. It’s about more than simple awareness – STAC’s training programs provide practical information so that learners can identify the signs and respond safely if they suspect human trafficking.
  • Promote freedom from trafficking – for our daughters and sons, mothers, and fathers, and friends and neighbors – so they all can thrive.
  • Be a link to connect STAC across neighborhoods, campuses, businesses, and all sectors to help heal those who saw no way out.
  • Rise together with STAC and survivors for freedom and a safer, more prosperous world.
