SUMMARY:Pro Bono Legal Clinic for Trafficking Survivors
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, November 8\, 2025\, the D.C. Women’s Bar Association\, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC)\, and the Human Trafficking Legal Center will hold a free\, in-person legal clinic for trafficking survivors seeking remission under the U.S. Department of Justice Backpage Remission Program. The clinic will be held in the offices of Baker McKenzie\, a pro bono law firm\, in Washington\, DC. \nFor survivors seeking restitution outside of the Washington\, D.C. area\, NCMEC has arranged for 30 pro bono law firms across the country to provide free legal support to applicants through the Backpage Remission Network.
